PERSONAL INFORMATION OF MINORS

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

1. We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

(d) to improve and optimise our service offering and customer experience;

(e) to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements with third parties;

We may disclose your personal information to cloud-providers, contractors and other third parties located inside or outside of Australia, for example, we currently use customer service personnel based in China to assist with customer enquiries. If we do so, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient has similar legal safeguards and deals with such personal information in a manner consistent with how we deal with it.

We will retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. For example, photographic documentation provided to us in connection with an allergic reaction claim will be destroyed within 7 days of the relevant case being closed.

Where you provide us with health or medical information (for example, in connection with an allergic reaction claim), we will only collect this information with your consent, and will use it to assess and respond to your claim, including for the purpose of any mandatory reporting obligations we may have under applicable law.

SECURITY

1. We take reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is secure and protected from misuse or unauthorised access. Our information technology systems are password protected, and we use a range of administrative and technical measures to protect these systems. For example, we do not store bank account or card details in spreadsheets or email, we limit access to that information to staff who need it to process a transaction or refund, and we use our existing payment provider's systems rather than manual storage wherever possible. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
